Frequently Asked Questions

 Frequently Asked Questions?

Why should my church and/or organization have a Wellness Health talk?

Providing a wellness workshop for your members is an excellent way to improve fellowship, increase awareness, promote health and have a no-cost fun event.

When is the best time to schedule a health talk?

Anytime is the right time to enhance wellness! Workshops can be booked during the week, or on the weekend. However, it’s best to avoid scheduling a workshops before a major holiday. Most importantly, try to find a time when the majority of your group may be able to attend and participate!

What is the typical duration of a health talk?

This will depend upon the number of participants you expect to attend. Seminars can be as short as 45 minutes or last as up to 90 minutes, depending upon your needs and the number of questions people have for the doctor.

What facilities are required to host a health talk?

That depends upon the number of participants. Typically we ask you to provide a room or space large enough to allow the doctor and participants to move about comfortably. We ask that there be enough seating for everyone and that there are convenient electrical outlets possible for video equipment or slide presentations.

Our staff will review all requirements with you in advance, and will make adjustments as necessary.  (Typically most rooms will meet these needs.)

Will my members be interested in attending?

In most instances, members who are aware of the health seminar topic(s) are interested in attending. As part of your preparation, we can provide you with flyers, posters, and other ideas to advertise your health seminar at your location.

How can the your group offer this service at no cost to my church or organization?

The cost of the health seminar is absorbed by the health related professionals who participate in the event and is offset by the terrific exposure they receive by meeting and educating your members.
